Totem Fusion is one of the most important—and most misunderstood—systems in Hero Wars Dominion Era. As you progress through Titan Valley and begin unlocking elemental spirit totems, you’ll eventually need to upgrade them with Elemental and Primal Totem Fusion Skills.

But with high resource costs, rare fragments, and multiple elements competing for your attention, knowing when and how to fuse your totems can dramatically impact your overall Titan power.

This guide breaks down everything you need to know about Totem Fusion in 2025, including fusion costs, recommended paths, common mistakes, and the most efficient upgrade strategies for both free-to-play and pay-to-win players.

What Is Totem Fusion in Hero Wars?

Every Totem will be able to hold THREE skills:

Basic Elemental Skill – the default skill your Totem already has.

Elemental Skill – an active skill that will allow the Totem to affect Titans during battle!

Primordial Skill – a passive skill that will affect only allied Titans and create powerful synergies between them, helping you tailor your Totem to different combat scenarios!

The Best Fire Totem Fusion Skills

Elemental: Last Flash, Ice Age or Flame dance (last flash is strongest)

Primal: Primal Zeal or Call of Elements

The Best Water Totem Fusion Skills

Elemental: Whisper of the Depths

Primal: Triple Cycle or Pulse of the Ancients

The Best Earth Totem Fusion Skills

Elemental: Murmur of the Crags or Ice Age

Primal: Echo Aegis (if using Avalon) or Primal Zeal

Elemental: Ice Age

Primal: Primal Zeal or Call of Elements

Note: Skills do not stack! It will pick the highest of the 2 skills, or if both are max in the order of elements

Dual Totem Strategies

You can either go 2 ways with this, you can set your dark or light totems up to be used together, or you can set them up to be used with other totems

Together: Set your dark totem up with call of elements and your light totem with primal zeal.

Used with other totems: Personally I set my light AND dark totems up with primal zeal, even though they do not stack, but because I want to pair them with other totems in the future. Set your elemental totems up with the other primal skills mentioned.
