From the first choice of pets offered you can start with just two heroes.  Choose either the Sebastian-Ishmael duo or the Julius-Peppy duo and sell either Peppy and/or Ishmael as you get ther others.   

Note that all the heroes do not need to be Red.  Make getting all pets the priority.
